VISION

EdenBrooke Family Life exists to engage, embrace, encourage, educate, empower, and assist individuals in the community to enjoy their lives and relationships. Our mission is to promote the gospel and healthy ideals as the basis for family life. Individuals in dysfunctional families will receive humanitarian, spiritually-based guidance, and assistance from this organization.

MISSION

The organization utilizes youth involvement, mental health assistance, and marriage counseling to provide a therapeutic atmosphere for our community’s youth. This is accomplished by providing active listening, companionship, engagement in creative skills, and advice on community resources for prompt interventions to reduce problems such as conflict, suicidal ideations, depression, truancy, and other similar issues affecting the health and well-being of the youth. In addition, we offer mentoring through inclusive community-based activities. We have successfully supported many people in the community through our monthly programs organized to equip couples, and single parents to fortify their relationships and enjoy their lives together as a family. We can boast of many testimonies of members gaining the skills and knowledge to happily engage with their spouses, children, and youth, leading to building stronger relationships and reducing chances of divorce. This has led to the children in such families thriving academically, being happy, and becoming responsible adults in the community.

Areas of Expertise

  • We offer and are able to connect families to other experienced Christian counsellors who specialize in family counseling as well.

  • 2-hour monthly sessions where relevant topics are discussed and ideas shared on how to nurture and build strong Godly relationships and homes. Utilizing sound resources including: videos, renowned and seasoned speakers and discussions to address relevant topics. Additional details on the events calendar.

  • One-on-one faith-based relationship, pre-marital, post marital counseling sessions for youth, and adults by utilizing the Bible based and Temperament Model

  • We support the youth counseling, on how to manage parental /relationship concerns, dealing with Stress, Management, Social Media related impact, substance use addictions, Spiritual Focus and Growth, Career considerations and referrals to helpful resources in the community.

  • Temperament therapy focuses on temperaments’ and how to peacefully live with and enjoy one other in relationships.

  • We offer one-on-one faith-based relationship, pre-marital, post marital counseling sessions utilizing the Bible based and Temperament Model

  • Workshops focus on building our homes and how to nurture the members of the home. Our Mental Health Professionals also offer trainings on various areas including Substance addictions, anger management, caring for individual developmental disabilities, conflict resolutions, Caring for the Aged Parents, /in-laws or loved ones and many other relevant / individualized evidence-based mental health topics with cultural competence, empathy, and compassion.
